Interior design means different things to different people. For us, it means whatever our clients want it to mean. We can offer interior design as a standalone service, but often it is offered as part of a turn-key project.
Where we provide a turn-key project, there is always an element of interior design as the turn-key project is all about providing a space that is ready to move into. It’s simply a matter of how much detail we go into.
If we are providing a kitchen or bathroom, we will provide a high level of detail and any necessary drawings. For other rooms, we can advise on wall and floor coverings, window dressings, furniture, and other soft furnishings in as much or as little detail as you wish.
Whatever we do, the work is always undertaken by taking a very consultative approach with you. It is fundamentally about getting the building right first when it comes to interior design. So, we start with this and make changes where appropriate; this means we’re not putting a round peg in a square hole!
Some of our clients simply want us to make their ideas happen and they have already designed the home they want. Our experience allows us to take design briefs and turn them into a project using a client’s ideas. We’re equally as proficient in fleshing out ideas when clients struggle to articulate what they want.
Sometimes, our job is just to present a client with a scheme that we know they’ll love. This is something we can formulate once we’ve spent some time with them and explored their likes and dislikes.
